colorado home re-model

Interior design

We had the pleasure of working with a lovely couple Mr and Mrs Kendall, who were seeking to re-model their beautiful home into a space that reflected their unique taste combined with a Santa Fe design aesthetic. Located in the stunning Colorado mountains, this 155m² property overlooked a breathtaking landscape. Here's how Design F9 brought the Kendall’s vision to life.

Project Scope

Jeffrey and Patty had already appointed an architect to draw up the CAD plans for the layout of their home. We were tasked with creating a 3D model and visualising the newly proposed layout. The challenge was to incorporate the Santa Fe aesthetic whilst maintaining the integrity of the architect's vision.

design approach

We specified an off white micro cement for the walls, which gave the space a clean and modern look while still being warm and inviting. We incorporated soft curves on the architraves and corners of walls, which added a touch of playfulness to the design. We introduced terracotta tiles into the hallway and the main bedroom and selected furniture in natural materials like mango wood and walnut. These warm and earthy materials were a perfect contrast to the white walls. We also used natural fibres like jute and cotton for the area rugs and soft furnishings, which added texture and depth to the space.

results

The end result was a home that was light and natural, with a touch of playfulness and a warm, inviting feel.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with the Kendalls and are thrilled with the outcome of this project. If you're looking to transform your home into a space that reflects your personal style, contact Design F9 today.

Design F9 responded quickly and produced extraordinarily results for us by taking out the guesswork. Our renderings made the rooms and hallways feel like photographs — so clear and realistic.
